Angie Harmon is an American actress and model, who has appeared in numerous of TV and film series throughout many years. The model started out as a model but once she was recognized internationally, she decided to pursue acting. In 1995, she began performing in the show "Baywatch Nights". Her voice was featured in the animated version of 'Batman Beyond: Return of the Joker.' Harmon decided early in 2000 that she would not be doing TV acting and concentrate solely on movies. In the mid 2000s, Harmon returned to television series following a brief time in movies. She was among the very few actors in 2008 who discretely photographed naked for "Allure" the magazine. As the detective Jane Rizzoli, she has appeared on TNT's 'Rizzoli & Isles. The character of Detective Jane Rizzoli was highly appreciated and she was awarded numerous awards. Angie Harmon, who has been in the business but has won only a handful of distinctions.
